The facts speak for themselves. The appointed medical establishments cannot soundly justify their position on fluoridation; they merely spew sound bites like, “it is one of 10 great public health achievements of the 20th century” or “it is a safe, beneficial and cost-effective way to prevent tooth decay.” That sounds all well and good, but would they care to back up that claim with some reputable science? I am not keen on the “just trust us” argument!

To the contrary, Dr. Hardy Limeback, a member of the National Research Council and leading Canadian dental researcher, provides 4 concrete reasons against fluoridation.

Fluoridation

1. delays (does not prevent) dental decay

2. is the main cause of dental fluorosis

3. has never been tested for safety

4. is impossible to control dosage.

The fact that it was not tested for safety should be a deal-breaker by itself. I do not appreciate acting as a guinea pig in this ongoing experiment.

Fluoride is a waste byproduct from the aluminum smelting, nuclear weapons and fertilizer manufacturing processes. Its supposed benefits were foisted upon us by industries that desired to make extra profit from a derivative they would otherwise have to dispose of. The protection of teeth has been greatly exaggerated.

American scientists are now calling on the Environmental Protection Agency to lower the level of fluoride downward from its current maximum of 4 milligrams per liter (mg/L). In the United Kingdom, where only 1 milligram per liter is used, that level is considered a health threat and can be linked to cancer, thyroid disease, diabetes, arthritis and dementia.

Since 1970, 98.4% of Minnesota tap water contains an artificially added 1.2 mg/L of fluoride. If you reside in the USA, chances are your water is also fluoridated (66% of the population is fluoridated).
